GARNIER GEFFROY developed, more than 20 years ago, a range of glass aseptic bungs. largely used in the Champagne region, these bungs provide high extraction rates and excellent conservation of fragile wines. These bungs allow maintaining the wines in vats that are half full. This wine conservation system, which uses liquid SO2, is still one of the most effective and economic ever made.
The PM aseptic bung, especially designed for 225 to 1000 litre barrels, allows vinification in barrels. GD and PM bungs are specifically calibrated to conserve wine in large containers.
