Bellot is responsible for the use of your personal data, that is to say data which allows you to be identified, directly or indirectly (hereinafter the " Data ").

How is my data collected?

Bellot collects your Data from you in various ways:

  • When you want to access the PRODUCT SHEET AND PRICES tab;
  • When you fill out our contact form to send us a specific request (about a product or for a quote, for example);
  • When you send us an email directly to the email addresses listed on the Site to obtain information, for example;
  • When you browse the Site after the placement of technical cookies necessary for the operation or security of our Site;
  • When you make a request to exercise rights over your Data.

Why is Bellot collecting my data?

Bellot collects and uses your Data in order to manage its Website.

In this respect, the use of your Data allows Bellot to:

  • To manage your requests (quotes, product information);
  • To ensure the security of the Site ;
  • To manage the administration and proper technical functioning of the Site (in particular for hosting).

 

Your Data may also be used in the context of managing your requests to exercise rights over your Data, as provided below.

Your Data will never be processed for purposes other than those specified in this document.

Finally, we would like to clarify that we do not carry out any processing involving automated decision-making.

What data is collected and used by Bellot?

When you access the Product Sheets and Prices tab on the Site and when you fill out the contact form, Bellot will collect the following Data:

  • Identification data (name, surname, email address);
  • Technical browsing data (IP address);
  • Where applicable, Data that you will take the initiative to communicate to us by filling in the free field "details of your request" and Data necessary for the management of your messages (subject of the request, timestamp, follow-up, possible statistics);

When you browse the Site, we will only use connection and browsing data (time stamp, IP address, equipment data) necessary for its security and technical management.

When you exercise your rights over your Data, we will collect identification data (name, surname and proof of identity in case of legitimate doubt on our part), as well as the Data that you voluntarily provide to us.

The collection of certain data is mandatory insofar as it is necessary to achieve the objectives in question. When this is the case, it will be indicated to you by an asterisk.

This Data will be collected from you or, as the case may be, from the staff in charge of the technical administration of the Site and authorized service providers.

On what legal basis is my data collected?

To be lawful, the use of your Data must be based on one of the six legal bases provided for by the GDPR.

In this regard, the use of your Data is justified:

  • By the execution of pre-contractual measures or of the contract when you request information via our online contact form or by email;
  • Through our legitimate interest when we deploy measures necessary for the security and management of our Site

How long does Bellot keep my personal data?

Regulations require that Data be kept only for the period strictly necessary for managing the business relationship.

Who are the recipients of your personal data?

For the purposes described above, Bellot transfers your personal data to the following third-party service providers and subcontractors:

  • Our Site's hosting provider (O2Switch);
  • Our agency in charge of Site maintenance and performance monitoring (Liderapro);

Does Bellot transfer your data to a country outside the European Union?

No, the data is hosted and stored on servers located in France.

What are your rights?

The regulations allow you to exercise the following rights with Bellot:

  • Right of access. You have the right to access your Data at any time, as well as to request the reasons why we hold it.
  • Right of rectification. You have the right to request the correction of any data concerning you that proves to be inaccurate. 
  • Right to object or erasure. You may also object at any time to the collection and processing of your Data or request its erasure, as soon as its retention by Bellot is no longer necessary.
  • Right to restriction. You may also object at any time to the collection and processing of your personal data for reasons relating to your particular situation, except where such processing is necessary for the performance of the contract or for compliance with a legal obligation by Bellot.
  • Right to withdraw consent. You may withdraw your consent to the collection and processing of your Data at any time. Withdrawing your consent will not affect the lawfulness of any processing already carried out.

How to exercise your rights?

To exercise the rights mentioned above regarding your Data or to ask us any questions about the processing we carry out on your Data, please contact us by email at the address shown at the top of this privacy policy or via our contact form. Your request will be processed within 48 hours.

What to do in case of a dispute concerning your Data?

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you believe we have not respected your rights.

What measures are in place to ensure the security of your data?

Bellot takes all necessary precautions to preserve the security of your Data, and in particular to prevent it from being distorted or damaged or from being accessed by unauthorized third parties.

In this context, Bellot is implementing the following non-exhaustive security measures:

  • Password encryption,
  • External backups transmitted via SSH to a third-party provider in encrypted, restricted-access archives.
